Pear, Gorgonzola and Pecan Salad
Here is a light and refreshing salad perfect for any time of the year; a PEAR, GORGONZOLA AND PECAN SALAD.
4-6 cups arugula or mixed greens
3 bosc pears, peeled and julienned
1/4 lb gorgonzola cheese
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon rice vinaigrette
1 tablespoon white wine
1 juice of a lemon
1. Wash the lettuce and divide onto four plates. Divide the pears between the dishes. Evenly sprinkle the cheese and pecans.
2. For the dressing, mix all the ingredients in a small glass and drizzle over the salads. Salt and pepper to taste.
