Chicken and Pesto Pasta
CHICKEN AND PESTO PASTA can be served as a side dish or a main course, but one thing is certain; your family or guests will be coming back for seconds.
16 ounce package bow-tie pasta
2 chicken breasts
4 tablespoons pesto (pesto recipe in food and beverage category)
extra virgin olive oil
1. Boil chicken breasts in water with salt and a little olive oil making sure to cook thoroughly. Should be around 10 minutes.
2. While water is still boiling, remove chicken and cook the pasta until al dente. About 5-7 minutes.
3. While pasta is cooking, cube chicken ( 1/2 inch) and place in large mixing bowl.
4. When pasta is done, drain in a colander. Add pasta and pesto in bowl with chicken and stir. Salt and pepper to taste.
