Removing Nails

This is a helpful tip my dad taught me years ago.  If you are having a hard time removing a nail use a little leverage.  Use a scrap piece of wood and place under the back of the head and lift up.  It’s a lot easier.  Also, by using this method, your nails come out a lot straighter if you are planning on reusing them.

    Sometimes, when it is difficult to bring the hammer hook underneath the nail head, I will use a hammer and a big screw driver to expose the nail head and once that is exposed, attack it with a pair of pliers or better yet a vise grip. that way, you’ll conquer any nail resistance …………..
