The Art of Grouping Photos and Frames

September 11, 2010

Grouping photos and art can create a dramatic effect in any room or space.  When deciding on placement, it’s best to figure out what you want to hang first and work from there.  You can first arrange on the floor the layout you would like.  Another method is to cut out the actual sizes of each photo or art piece on craft paper or brown paper bags.  This will allow you to change and make adjustments before actually hanging.  Plus it will reduce the amount of holes you might mistakenly make.

I always group my pictures, but I generally use a measuring tape and level to make sure my pictures are hung right. This works unless the ceiling isn’t even!
