Twig Wreath

October 31, 2010

Seasonal wreaths are a welcoming decoration to adorn your home or an outdoor structure.  This  TWIG WREATH was placed on a shed and will stay up through the month of November.

wire wreath frame

floral wire
garden shears
1 yard of 2″ orange ribbon

1.  Cut all the twigs on one end so you have a clean cut.

2.  Knot one end of the floral wire to the frame.  Then bunch several twigs together and attach the lower end (base) of the bunch to the frame.   Wrap wire several times around both the bunch of twigs and the frame.

3.  Working your way around the frame, continue to lay each bunch covering over the area (base) where you wrapped in wire.  You want to cover the wire with new twigs.

4.  Tie a bow with the ribbon and attach with a piece of floral wire.
