Brussel Sprouts with Apples and Bacon
2 lbs brussel sprouts; stems cut off and halved
6 strips of bacon
1 cortland apple, diced (or red tart apple)
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1. In a skillet, cook the bacon and drain with a paper towel. Chop up bacon.
2. Remove most of the grease from pan and then add the brussel sprouts, apples and bacon and cook on medium-high heat. Stir until brussel sprouts start to turn light brown.
